Meet the team
Light Spirit UK currently has four directors and two additional staff who all facilitate personal development workshops. Community programs are also initiated and led by members of Light Spirit.
Stella Hooper
Stella Hooper is the founder of Light Spirit UK and a director.
Nikki Catto
Nikki Catto is a director of Light Spirit UK. Nikki has a degree in business studies and is a trained counsellor who specialises in working with young people. Nikki has been teaching meditation and empowering workshops for over eight years as well as working as a kinesiologist and private counsellor.
Nikki’s ethos in life is to help to empower an individual to live their life positively. Nikki practises yoga, meditation, creative writing, gardening and also loves to be with people who inspire her.

Heather Johnson
Heather Johnson is a director of Light Spirit UK. She holds an MA in Counseling and Human Services and a BA in Sociology/Women’s Studies from Montclair State University (New Jersey, USA). She has been a Certified Hypnotherapist since 2002, and specializes in teaching the HypnoBirthing method to pregnant women in Pembrokeshire (www.hypnobirthingpembrokeshire.co.uk). Heather moved to the UK in 2009 and got involved with Light Spirit UK when she moved to Pembrokeshire last year. She has many years experience working in non-profit administration and student development in higher education, and is committed to creating greater well-being for individuals and communities. She practices yoga, meditation and qigong regularly, and has a special interest in contemplative practice and traditions.
Rosalyn Evans
Rosalyn Evans is a workshop facilitator for Light Spirit UK. She is an artist with a BA (hons) in Fine Art and a keen interest in helping people find their inner potential through creativity. She is experienced in facilitating workshops in self-awareness and creative exploration. Rosalyn is from Pembrokeshire where she lives with her three young children.
Barry Seward-Thompson
Barry Seward-Thompson is a workshop facilitator for Light Spirit UK. A scientist and engineer for many years, he began to realise that people are even more fascinating than science and machines! This led to a major change in career direction. In 1992, he launched his own organisational consultancy specialising in people aspects of management such as leadership, motivation, teamwork, stress management, work/life balance, and sustainable living. In the new millennium, he expanded into more therapeutic work, training as a Breathworker with the Artemis Foundation, as a Listening Bodyworker with BBVM, and as a Sound Healer with the College of Sound Healing. His spiritual practice includes listening to and playing music, woodcarving, working out in the gym and, for 6 months of the year, daily dips in the sea.
